For ages we told the people around that this lighthouse is owned by us but they found out that this is NOT true ;-) ... Still one of the finest lighthouses in the Netherlands.

Every year several thousand men come to Katwijk's Nieuwe Kerk for the men's singing evenings to sing Psalms, hymns and spiritual songs together.
The village of Nieuwenhoorn is named after the polder in which the village is built. This polder was released on Christmas Eve 1367 by Machteld van Voorne for diking. Most of the houses in the village of Nieuwenhoorn stood along the dike.
The origins of the pipe organ can be traced back to the hydraulis in Ancient Greece, in the 3rd century BC.

It has been a long way ... a search for the ultimate sound as performed by the Max-Adam-piano/Berlin from grandparents yrs '60 ... the real igninition was by Tori Amos / China ... finally the 'feel-and-touch-and-sound arrived by a digital version ... no complains by neighbors so far ;-)
